Adopt-A-Bird birds are adopted at monthly meetings and you must be a member in good standing to qualify.
Also, time in membership will specify which category of bird you are eligible to adopt.

 

      RMSA is licensed in Colorado to operate a rescue, rehome and adoption program called Adopt-a-bird.  Most birds enter the program simply because their families can no longer keep them and they need new families to accept and love them...

RMSAFounded in 1961, RMSA celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2010. We have grown to @ 350 club members and are very proud of the club and the things we are able accomplish through the club.

Our Bird Rehome and Adoption program is on hand during each of the general meetings, there are birds looking for new families constantly, maybe you'll meet one that will fit into your home. They are available for adoption to all members who meet the requirements. Our Adopt A Bird program is always looking for volunteers, they need foster homes and help to pick up and transfer birds in need. Just talk to our Adopt A Bird manager and sign up.
